Junior High Boys’ Basketball Camp

 

 

Location: Gateway Citadel Community Center, 824 Union Road, St. Louis, MO 63123

 

Dates: Monday, July 9 – Friday, July 13

 

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

 

Cost: $75.00 for members; $85.00 for non-members.

 

Camp Details: This camp is open to boys ages 11-14, or 10 year olds who have completed the fifth grade. The camp will be taught with a Christian emphasis on all aspects of basketball, motivation techniques, and sportsmanship. The camp will consist of three 45 minute teaching sessions on basketball, Bible devotions, lunch, and a scrimmage game each day. 

 

Lunch: Each participant will need to bring their own lunch and drink each day.

 

Camp Staff: Greg Williams, coach at Owensville High School, will be the featured instructor for this camp.  Coach Williams was the main instructor at last year’s camp and ran a fun, challenging, and informative camp.  Coach Williams will be assisted by Cort Hubbard, the Salvation Army Gym Director. In addition, there will be four camp counselors to assist the campers in developing and practicing the skills being taught.

 

Registration is open to the first thirty (30) campers who are registered and paid.
